ASSISTANT PROFESSOR FACULTY POSITION IN EXERCISE SCIENCE
The Department of Education and Allied Studies is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the Exercise Science Program at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Exercise Science major prepares candidates to pursue careers and graduate programs in a variety of allied health professions such as Athletic Trainer, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Personal Fitness Trainer, in addition to the Pre-K to 12th Grade Ohio licensure. The Department welcomes applications from candidates with a comprehensive background in the applied science-related courses in general, and with a specific area of expertise in athletic training, exercise science, health, or related areas of study.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D., Ed.D., ABD or Terminal degree in area of specialization
- Evidence of ability to teach undergraduate courses in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Health, or related areas of study
- Interest in, and evidence of potential for, research and publications
- Interest in, and potential for, involvement in state, national, and community organizations

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Experience with accreditation standards for Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Health, specifically NATA/CAATE and AAHE standards
- Interest in, and evidence of ability to develop new academic programs
- Ability to collaborate with professionals in schools and community agencies.
- Interest in, and potential for, involvement in University-Community-School partnerships
- Experience with NASPE and NCATE standards.
- Valid Teaching License
