If you had the opportunity to create a better world, where would you begin?  In Second Life you can explore many different options.  The members of our learning community will enter this on-line world where millions of users create virtual societies.  What can our experiences there teach us about social justice issues such as racism and sexism?  We will acquire critical thinking skills and use them to understand and assess various visions of utopia.
