Program in Applied Ethics

In an effort to help students of color transition from high school to college John Carroll University instituted the Bridge Program.

Carroll Cleveland Philosophers Program
The CCPP is designed to help students create their own pathways to academic and personal success. Our team of dedicated professionals focuses on meeting the individual needs of students from the Cleveland Municipal School District. <more>

Honors Program
JCU's Honors Program provides a framework of opportunities for academically outstanding students. Through academic seminars, social, and cultural events, on-campus and off, students and faculty engage each other in lively dialogues. <more>

Leadership and Social Justice Learning Community
The Leadership and Social Justice Learning Community is an interdisciplinary curricular and co-curricular four year program open to all students entering JCU in the fall of 2007. Students participate in block scheduled courses during freshman year. Co-curricular activities are led by a resident assistant committed to developing students' leadership skills and awareness of social justice issues. <more>

Poverty and Solidarity Program
The Poverty and Solidarity program's goals are to enhance student learning about poverty and to foster recognition among students that they have a social responsibility to work toward the alleviation of poverty. <more>

Pre-Health Professions Studies Program
The Pre-Health Professions Studies Program is one opportunity provided to our students to help them develop as persons. Our mission is to help students make career choices that best suit their talents and abilities. <more>
