21-Jan-08     Organize your CALRP research group and complete the preliminary paperwork:
    1. Group Process Assessment
    2. Group Organizational Chart
    3. Strategic Plan for CALRP
    4. Early Group Assessment forms (from each group member)
    Begin your Archival & Historical Research
25-Jan-08     Meet with the GA to submit your paperwork and discuss any needs you foresee.
    Schedule your activities:
    1. Focus Group Session(s)
    2. Interviews  (and videotaping, if possible)
    3. Ritual observation (and videotaping, if possible)
    4. Site Visit & photo shoot
    Make any necessary arrangements for transportation, equipment, etc. 
6-Feb-08     Over the next three weeks, complete your on-site CALRP activities:
    1. Focus Group Session(s) (audiotaped, if possible)
    2. Interviews  (videotaped, if possible)
    3. Ritual observation (videotaped, if possible)
    4. Site Visit & photo shoot (including persons who give permission)
8-Feb-08     First CALRP Group Progress Report outlining your schedule for completing your Focus Group Session(s), Interviews, Ritual Observation, & Site Visit.
    Meet with GA to discuss your Progress Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
22-Feb-08     Submit the following documents in hard copy or analog media:
    1. Midway Group Assessment forms (from each group member)
    2. ALL ORIGINAL Interview or Focus Group NOTES
    3. ALL PERTINENT SIGNED RELEASE FORMS
    4. ALL ORIGINAL RECORDINGS or photos
    5. Group Progress Report #2
    Submit the following documents in hard copy and digital form:
    1. Focus Group report
    2. Interview Verbatims
    3. Ritual Verbatim
    4. Photographs and audio-video recordings
    5. First draft of the Archival & Historical Research Report
    Meet with GA to discuss your Progress Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
17-Mar-08     Revise your CALRP Archival & Historical Research Report
    Edit any other parts of the project PRN
    Complete grading protocols for the various parts of the project
    Write the summative assessment of your Portfolio
    Complete any other written work still outstanding.
25-Mar-08     Compile your CALRP Portfolio, including:
    1. All raw data (notes, recordings, photographs, etc.)
    2. All signed release forms
    3. All group assessment forms
    4. Grading protocols for the various parts of the project
    5. Summative assessment of your Portfolio
28-Mar-08     Group Progress Report #3
    Meet with GA to discuss your Progress Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
11-Apr-08     Summative Group Assessment forms (from each group member)
    Group Progress Report #4
    Meet with GA to discuss your Progress Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
14-Apr-08     CALRP PORTFOLIO DUE, including:
    1. All raw data (notes, recordings, photographs, etc.)
    2. All signed release forms
    3. All group assessment forms
    4. Grading protocols for the various parts of the project
    5. Summative assessment of your Portfolio
16-Apr-08     Finalize your group's class presentation (PPT or Website) of your CALRP findings.
    Practice delivery of your presentation.
    Write one short essay question and ten objective quiz questions that cover the most important points of your presentation.
    Email any preparatory reading assignments to the rest of the class via Blackboard
21-Apr-08     Presentations from Groups A–C. CALRP Qz1; CALRP Pres. Peer-Evals.
23-Apr-08     Presentations from Groups D–F. CALRP Qz2; CALRP Pres. Peer-Evals
