Week Day Date Description
2 M 21-Jan-2008 Organize your CALRP research group and complete the preliminary paperwork (the Group Process Assessment, etc.). Have each group member complete the Early Group Assessment forms. Begin your Archival & Historical Research Report.
F 25-Jan-2008 DUE BY TODAY: Meet with the GA to submit your paperwork and discuss any needs you foresee.
Look Ahead Schedule CALRP Focus Group Session(s), Interviews & Site Visit. Make any necessary arrangements for transportation, equipment, etc. 
4 W 6-Feb-2008 Complete your on-site CALRP Focus Group Session(s), Interviews, Ritual Observation, & Site Visit within the next three weeks. Photograph CALRP site (& persons, with permission). If possible, videotape the ritual.
F 8-Feb-2008 DUE BY TODAY: Write your first CALRP Group Progress Report outlining your schedule for completing your Focus Group Session(s), Interviews, Ritual Observation, & Site Visit. Meet with GA to discuss your CALRP Group Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
6 F 22-Feb-2008 DUE BY TODAY: Midway Group Assessments; CALRP Ritual Verbatim; Focus Group report; Interview Verbatims; ALL ORIGINAL NOTES, RECORDINGS, AND PERTINENT SIGNED RELEASE FORMS; the first draft of your CALRP Archival & Historical Research Report; and Group Progress Report #2. Submit all paperwork in hard copy and digital form, including any photographs and/or audio-video recordings. Meet with GA to discuss your CALRP Group Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
10 T 25-Mar-2008 CALRP GROUP WORK DAY
Work with your research group to revise your CALRP Archival & Historical Research Report, edit any other parts of the project, and complete whatever written work is still outstanding. Then compile your CALRP Portfolio, including all raw data (notes, recordings, photographs, etc.), release forms, group assessment forms, and completed grading protocols. Write the summative assessment of your Portfolio.
F 28-Mar-2008 DUE BY TODAY: Group Progress Report #3. Meet with GA to discuss your CALRP Group Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
12 F 11-Apr-2008 DUE BY TODAY: Summative Group Assessments and Group Progress Report #4. Meet with GA to discuss your CALRP Group Report and resolve any outstanding difficulties.
13 M 14-Apr-2008 CALRP PORTFOLIO DUE, including all raw data (notes, recordings, photographs, etc.), release forms, group assessment forms, completed grading protocols, and summative assessment of the portfolio itself.
W 16-Apr-2008 CALRP GROUP WORK DAY
Finalize your group's class presentation (PPT or Website) of your CALRP findings. Practice delivery of your presentation. Write one short essay question and ten objective quiz questions that cover the most important points of your presentation. Email any preparatory reading assignments to the rest of the class via Blackboard
