What types of miracles do you find in Mark's gospel?
How many miracles did Jesus perform, and how would you categorize each of them?
Create a four-columned table listing every miracle mentioned or narrated in GMark. Make your table look like the one below:
The first column will contain the number indicating in what order this example appears in GMark (e.g., is it the first miracle in GMark, the second, third, etc.)
The second column will contain the exact Biblical citation for the example story
The third column should contain a phrase that you think encapsulates the content of the story
The fourth column will indicate what type of miracle you think this is.

Note how many miracles GMark says that Jesus performed; where they tend to appear in GMark; and which category or categories of miracle seem to predominate.
According to Q (Matt 11:4-5; Luke 7:22) and the synoptics (e.g., Mark 3:22-26; Luke 11:19-20;
Matt 12:27-28), Jesus viewed his miracles as signs that the reign of God was present.
Keeping in mind that the Greek word sozô means both "to save" and
"to heal," how would you characterize the Markan Jesus' view of the relationship between "faith" and healing/salvation?
In light of these two facts, should miracles be the test of whether the Kingdom
of God is present among Christians today?
