Suggestions for Students
who Want Straight A's

Strive for a 4.0 grade point average to find out how talented you are.

Always read the text before class, asking yourself the questions what and
why. Use a red pen to mark the text and write definitions of key terms
at the top of the page.

Spend two or three hours studying for each hour of class.

Miss no class.

Sit in front.

Ask the teacher questions.

Look the teacher in the eye and mentally answer questions the teacher asks
other students.

See your teacher.

Do written work immediately after class.

Neatly recopy notes.

Review notes throughout the semester.

Prepare well for all exams.

Read the text three times before a test.

Realize that you have mastered a subject when you can teach it to another.

Live one day at a time.

Take a vacation from study one day a week.
