Recorder:
Keeps the written record of group discussion; ensures that each group member
is listed on the report form which is submitted

Invites members of the group to participate in the discussion; ensures that
every individual has an opportunity to contribute, and that all sides get "equal
time" in the discussion; prevents one person monopolizing the group discussion

Connector:
Suggests ways in which different ideas are related to one another; tries to
develop a consensus view after all sides have been aired

Summarizer:
Uses reflective listening to check that the group members accurately understand
each view that is being put forward; collaborates with the Reporter to give
the oral report of the group's discussion to the class
