Chris Roark explores the connection between the writing of John Wideman and the sculpture of Alberto Giacometti.
In the Spring semester (2006) I participated
in the "Celebration of Scholarship," an annual event at John Carroll
in which both faculty members and students present highlights from
their academic work. I took my presentation from my research on writers
who leave their own medium to explore art and music in order to express
something that is "beyond words."
