All seniors in The College of Arts and Sciences are cleared for graduation through the Assistant Deans’ Office by the Manager of Student Records, Gail Gehring. Graduation information meetings are held at the beginning of each fall semester. At these meetings graduating seniors are given all the information they need to complete the required documents for graduation as well as hear about the commencement ceremony and the festivities leading up to May 18, 2008, graduation day.
After the graduation forms are properly completed and returned to the Assistant Deans’ Office, each student will be audited to ensure completion of core, major, minor, and interdisciplinary concentration requirements. Upon completion of this process, all
students will be supplied a copy of their audit. One copy is to be signed and returned to the Assistant Deans’ Office.
In order to graduate, every student must complete a minimum of 128 credit hours and have a GPA of 2.0 overall as well as in their major, minor, and concentration. Please refer to the Undergraduate Bulletin for specific details or call our office. The Assistant Deans’ Office is prepared to answer any questions and help in the graduation process.
