Yuzuriha Taiko Perfromance

Yuzuriha Taiko Performance

East Asian Studies Program presented a performance of the Yuzuriha Taiko on JCU campus on April 25, 2008.

Yuzuriha is a four-member taiko group from Kanazawa, Japan. Their performances inlcude traditional pieces, original arrangements, and original works. The main instruments include three types of taiko (nagado, big and medium oke-taiko, and shime-taiko) Additional instruments played at this performance include flute (shinobue) and shamisen (tsugaru shamisen).
