University Planning
Planning Mission
The University Planning Group engages in relevant, timely and ongoing dialogue, among representatives of the various constituencies of the University, regarding subjects essential to the present state and future planning of the institution. As an essential component of this process, the University Planning Group sponsors the creation of a three to five year strategic plan relevant to all departments and divisions of the University.
The committee oversees the implementation, assessment and modification of this plan based upon a continuing analysis of the University's internal and external environment. The University Planning Group reports its findings and makes its recommendations to the President of the University and, through him and through the Board's Academic Affairs and Planning Committee, to the Board of Directors.
