Leadership and Service
The true college experience is found not just by going to class and studying, but by getting involved and meeting other people. John Carroll's culture of leadership fosters the growth of the individual by allowing you to develop your leadership skills in a variety of different ways. This is just another way that JCU strives to develop the whole person- not just academically, but spiritually, personally, and professionally as well.
As a Jesuit institution, we also value the act of service. Service to others is an important part of the history of the Jesuits and of John Carroll and our students carry out this tradition daily. From tutoring, to immersion trips, to building Habitat for Humanity houses, to giving fellowship to the homeless with the Labre Project, our students are out in the world and making a difference. |
