Group Visits
A group visit is an excellent way for high school students to experience John Carroll University with their peers. Our goal is to make every group visit educational, productive, and worthwhile. We provide a 1-hour presentation given by an admission professional followed by a 1-hour walking tour, led by a student tour guide, of our beautiful campus.
Before filling out a group visit request form, please take a few moments to review the group components and expectations.
Components
- Groups are limited to 15 high school students and at least one chaperone. Our primary focus is on our college bound students, who are primarily juniors and seniors. We commend programs that want to introduce college to middle school aged children but, because of many constraints, we are unable to accommodate them*.
- Group visits are available Tuesday- Thursday at 10:00 a.m. (based on school calendar, holidays, etc.)
Expectations
To ensure the best possible visit for your students we hope that the following will happen:
- We hope that the group arrives 15 minutes prior to the start time.
- We hope that the students respect the John Carroll University community and all its members. We strive to create a campus culture that values and encourages respect for all people.
- We hope that the students come prepared with questions to ask their tour guide or admission representative. This ensures that many of their questions about the college process are answered.
- We hope that we will provide the assistance that students need to navigate the college search process during and after their campus visit regardless if John Carroll is their college choice or not. We truly hope that the students enjoy their visit and consider college a feasible option after high school.
Registration
