Payroll Information
If you will be working, you should be prepared to start thinking about the following steps to gaining employment:
Bring paperwork for hiring. Wherever you intend to work, you will need to complete all the necessary federal tax forms: the Federal I-9 and W-4 forms, primarily. You will need proof of identification. Be sure to bring these forms from home when you come to campus! For acceptable forms of identification click here. Remember all forms must be originals - copies or faxes are not acceptable by Federal law.
Direct Deposit. Direct deposit of your payroll check into your bank account is convenient and a real time-saver for busy college students. You will have immediate access to your funds versus always needing to deposit the checks yourself near campus at a local bank. Direct deposit forms will be available at the time of employment or you can click here.
You will need your routing and account number, located on the bottom of your personal checks to complete the process. If you are depositing to a savings account or do not have checks, contact your bank for the information.
