As the saying
goes, "There's no such thing as a 'free lunch,'" but this was pretty
close. Members of the Class of '57 Scholarship committee treated Diane
Ward in gratitude for the JCU Bursar's work in administering the scholarship.
(It benefits seniors in their last semester who suffer family emergency
or financial hardship that threatens graduation.) Clockwise from Diane
is Dick Huberty, Director of Planned Giving Peter Bernardo ‘67, Jim
Clark, Sal Felice and Bill Comiskey. (Absent: Bart Merella, Dick Murphy
and James Gasper. The scholarship is valued at over $171,000. The
committee’s goal is to reach $350,000 for their reunion class gift
in 2007 |
