Recreation Center Usage

Alumni of John Carroll University are eligible to use facilities at the Ralph Vince Fitness Complex. These facilities include the intramural gymnasium (basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton), indoor running track, weight training room, swimming pool, cardiovascular room, and racquetball courts (racquetball, wallyball). Men's and women's locker rooms are also available.

The following are admitted with a valid identification card:

Full-time faculty
Full-time staff
Full-time undergraduate students
Graduate students
Alumni with a valid annual membership card or an Alumni Privilege Card
Children/dependents of faculty/staff may use their parent's identification card if they have a current driver's license. If they do not have a valid driver's license, they must be accompanied by a parent. Children/dependents of alumni must be accompanied by a parent. Children of alumni will not be allowed to present their parent's alumni card for admittance.

• Annual Membership Card

Annual membership cards carry a $250.00 annual fee, $175.00 if the alumni has graduated within the past 5 years. Spouses are granted the same privileges as the member and must obtain his/her card at no cost. Children/dependents are unable to present their parents' card for admittance. Children/dependents must be accompanied by their parents at all times. Dependents are not permitted guest privileges. Annual membership cards are available from the recreation office.

• Guest Policies

Guests must be accompanied by a member. The guest fee is $5.00 per person. Accompanied children under 12 years are admitted free. There is a limit of two non-family guests at one time. Dependents are not permitted guest privileges. The guest and sponsor must sign a waiver. The member will be held financially liable for all damages caused by the guest.

During home football games, the pool will not open until 4:00 p.m. Recreation is to stop 10 minutes prior to closing. Equipment is to be turned in at this time. All users must clear the locker rooms at closing time. Contact the recreation office for break and holiday hours.
