It’s a Girl! Katherine Ann Reardon (AKA Kate) was born on February 15th at 6:44 a.m. and was 7 lbs. 15 oz., 20 inches long. We are very excited and all are doing well . . . Monica (Merella) and Ted Steiner had their second child, Isaiah David, on April 11, 2001 he was 6 lbs. 12 oz., and his big sister is Grace. They live in Cleveland Heights where Monica runs a home day care for toddlers and Ted is the youth minister at St. Dominic Church . . . Christine (McFarland) Picard and husband. Urban ’77 had another baby boy, Timothy, on April 2; he was 8 lbs. 15 oz. and 21 inches. He joins two-year-old brother Rob . . . Eric Saunders and his wife, Dana, moved into their new home in Avon Lake, OH last fall. They welcomed their first child, Hope Kimberly, on January 25, she was 8 weeks early but is doing great now . . .
Guy and Rachel (Mullen) Manias had their second child, Dane, on September 10, 2001. She joins Olivia (2). Rachel is a full-time mom. Guy is self employed with 2 other partners at Paragon Data Systems, where he does bar coding and data collection . . . Two days after Christmas, Michelle (Cirino) and Chris Yarris moved to Geneva, Switzerland. They will be there for the next 3 years. Chris is working there with PricewaterhouseCoopers. His job is to make sure that American publicly traded companies are in compliance with US standards. Michelle and Chris have two children, Elizabeth (3½) and Blake (19 mos.). Liz is in preschool and is picking up French very well. That sounds awesome, best of luck . . .
Kevin Milos has his master’s in counseling and is licensed as a clinical counselor. He was a cop with the Lake County Sheriff’s Department for a time but is now a guidance counselor at Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, IL. He is married to Shawn and they are expecting their first child in July. Thanks for the note Kevin, keep us posted . . . Denise (Rak) Niemojewski and husband, Bob, opened their restaurant last July in Avon, OH. It’s called Nemo Grille and it is going very well. Denise is the hostess and runs the front of the house, Bob runs the kitchen. They also enjoy some free time to spend with their 1-year-old daughter, Ruby Rose. Denise’s twin, Debbie Rak is now working for Liturgical Publications. The company prints church bulletins and she’s responsible for signing churches on with the company, she works out of her home and loves it . . .
Michael Beck is married to Lisabeth Scalzi and Mike the chief resident of pediatrics at Hershey Medical Center in PA . . . Douglas Ennis works for NetiQ as a systems engineer and is married to Sandra Ringelstetter. They live in Westminster, CO with their 2-year-old son, Collin . . . Kevin Francis Healy, 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 20 inches, was born to Brian Healy and wife Christy (Cilli) ’94 on November 2, 2001. They are living and working in the Columbus area . . . Kevin and Jill (Wagner) Amolsch welcomed their second child, Tyler Wagner, on February 23, he weighed 7lbs. 10 oz. Their daughter Molly is 2. Jill works in customer service for Gunton Corporation (Cleveland based distributor of Pella windows). Kevin is the sales manager at Ganley Westside Import . . .
Rachel Long was married on November 17 in Nassau, Bahamas, to Todd Brenner and they are living in Boca Raton, FL where Rachel works for Oasis Outsourcing. Rachel also reports that Liz (Murphy) Zappitelli had her second child, Katherine, last spring. Thanks Rachel . . . Nicole Sack was also married on November 17 to Shawn Elliot in Pittsburgh, Kirsten Benson ’96 and Reilly Benson ’03 participated in the wedding. Nicole and her husband live in Maryland where Nicole works for Academic Travel Abroad as the assistant director, travel services in Washington . . .
Shawn Mitchell is a sales representative for Roll-Kraft Inc. in Mentor, OH. He and wife, Beth, live in Wickliffe with their son, Jeffrey Aaron (3) . . . John and Gretchen (Heutsche) Hogan have moved into their new home in Pittsfield Township, MI. John is the manager of New Business Development for ECS Group, Inc. and Gretchen is in practice as a Podiatrist . . . Catherine (Rice) Shellabarger and husband moved into their new home last summer and were expecting their first child in February. Catherine was promoted to audit manager at Arthur Andersen LLP last fall . . . Lisa Bollheimer received her MS in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 1998 and now works for Lewisburg Physical Therapy in WV . . .
Ed Ash relocated to Anchorage, AK from South Euclid for an opportunity to work with lead instructing therapist for the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM-US). He is helping them implement an appropriate sports medicine program for their clinic. He and wife, Hillary, are expecting their first child in May . . . Dawn (Clark) McGrath is living in Mentor, OH and has two children, Tyler (4) and Tanner (2) . . . Christopher Helm received his BA in History from Youngstown State University in 1996 and is now working for Peppers & Rogers Group as editor, On-line Newsletter. He is also married to Annette Canacci and they have one child, Jackson (1) . . . Jenifer Williams is senior producer/learning designer for AHA interactive in Chicago . . .
Timothy Gill and wife, Amy Seaman, live in Alexandria, VA and Tim works for American Petroleum Institute in Washington as a senior economist . . . Dan Hanson is still in the Army as a Captain stationed in Seoul, South Korea for the last four years. He is in training to become a Foreign Area Officer with a specialization in Korea. He is attending Sogang University, a Jesuit University in Seoul, to learn the Korean language. As part of his training he is traveling extensively to Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand and throughout Korea. Dan plans to be in Seoul for another two years and then will be heading to the University of Hawaii for graduate school in 2003. He also reports that he is still single but may not be much longer . . .
Larry Witmer and wife, Maria, had their first child Cory Joseph on August 1, 2001. Larry is a family physician at the Center for Health and Wellness in Madison, OH . . . Mike Graber lives in Calera, AL and works for Michelin, NA as a fleet account manager . . . Michelle Goldbach received her JD from OSU College of Law in 1999 and is living in Alexandria, VA . . . Edward Guzowski and wife, Beth (Perri) ’94, experienced the birth of their daughter, Lauren Ann, on August 29, 2001, they live in Norwalk, CT . . . Mary Ryan was given the Golden Apple Foundation’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in Chicago. When the award is presented, her students are told that they have one of the best teachers in Chicago.
