Hi friends! I hope you're all looking forward to Reunion '98! I recently spoke with Monica (Merella) Steiner and she and her beautiful daughter, Grace Elizabeth, are doing fine after Grace was born 10 weeks premature. Monica continues to run a day care center out of her home and Ted is the youth minister for a local church . . . I also spoke with Ricci Leigh Polsinelli. She and her husband, Robert, are doing well in Virginia and will be attending Reunion Weekend . . .
Mike Schrage is busy doing other peoples' taxes, as he is still working for the accounting firm, Plante & Moran, in the Detroit area, where he finally got his own apartment . . . Andy Botzer has some news to share with everyone . . . He's moved from Atlanta to Birmingham, where he has bought a house and has a new job as national sales manager for a company called BankWare . . . Lynne Wotzak received her master's in school counseling in April of '97. This is in addition to her master's degree in counseling, which she received in '96. She moved to Boston last year and is employed as a school counselor and loving it. She also included some news about some of her friends . . . Sarah Drickhamer moved to Colorado this past fall to fulfill her lifelong dream of living near some of the best ski slopes in the country. She is happily employed and doing well . . .
Sherry Szelagowski is finishing up her work for school psychology; she'll be a school psychologist this May. Also, she is excited about her upcoming wedding in September to her longtime love, Louis . . . Pam Paris is finishing up her Ph.D. in Rochester . . . Jen Pracko is enjoying the sunshine of Florida and is now employed at the University of Miami . . . Robert Moussaid and Cherrie Cajigal were married in December 1996 and now have a 9-month old baby boy. Cherrie was working for Evergreen Securities as branch operations manager until the birth of their son, and Robert is still working for Johnson & Higgins (J&H) Marsh & McLennan as an International Insurance Broker. His position recently took them to Saudi Arabia, where Robert will be managing its Jeddah office . . .
Mic Lundon sent me a short note to let everyone know that he moved back to Cleveland about a year ago after graduating from law school in Minneapolis, MN. He's working as a financial advisor with Prudential Securities downtown; send him your money! He lives with Tony Leccese in Fairview Park and hangs out with John Meek, Christian and Kristi Warzocha, Drew Pearce, Bill Foreman, and any other JCU alums he can hook up with on any given night. Gretchen Heutsche sent me an e-mail to let us know that she graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine on May 23, 1997. She is currently doing a 2-year surgical residency program at St. Michael's Hospital (formerly St. Alexis) . . .
1997 was a good year for Mike Abdoo; he continues to work at Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc., he bought a new house, and he got engaged to Jennifer Pawlak. No wedding date has been set . . . Bill O'Connell has finished law school and is working as the Statewide Legislative Coordinator for the Hunger Action Network of New York state. This is the same organization he worked for when he was with the JVC, but now he's getting paid. Bill is living in Albany, NY . . . William Tomazin and his wife, Mechelle, have twin daughters named Amanda and Haley who were born December 14. He is a teacher on assignment at the Euclid Learning Center in DeLand, FL . . .
Captain Dan Hanson sent an e-mail from Seoul, S. Korea where he is currently stationed. He's had an exciting tour with the military and spent 3 years in Germany, a year in Bosnia-Herzegovina and hopes to continue his international travels even after he is out of the military by pursuing an MBA in international management. Dan included some news about John Cilli who is currently working in sales at a computer company in Pittsburgh. Dan also reports that John Wilson and his wife, Kathy, purchased a house in a Washington, DC suburb. Kathy is teaching in Fairfax County, VA and John works for a defense contractor. Dan would love to hear from you and regrets he cannot come to Reunion. Jennifer L. (Jackson) Graeca and her husband, Dr. Steven Graeca, are living in Emmaus, PA. Jennifer finisher her master's degree in education from the university of Toledo and is currently teaching at St. Ann's Catholic School in Emmaus.
