Class Notes - Summer, 1999

Brian Mudry was married in June of '98 to Janel Bailey. Brian recently graduated from medical school with his DO degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and is a family practice resident at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. Janel is currently in law school at Duquesne University. Brian and Janel live near Pittsburgh. Steve Sadowski was the best man at their wedding. He and his wife, Joan (Buganski), brought their recent addition, Emma Cynthia. All are doing well and Joan is expecting their second. Also in the wedding party were Christopher Moulin -- accompanied by his wife, Christy, who is expecting too -- Jim Zalar and Kevin Leigh, who attended with his wife, Pam. Jeff Freeman and his wife, Amy O'Shea '92, were there. They just had their second child, Maxwell Vincent; their daughter Taylor Marie is two years old; and Mark Zisk . . .

Mary Ellen Brenkus got married in November to Allen Guisinger. Monica Hartmann was one of the bridesmaids . . . Mary Ellen is working for Third Federal Savings & Loan in human resources. Allen is a chemical engineer . . . Christine Poleon is working at Sullivan and Cogliano Consulting, recruiting IT professionals and living in the Tremont area of Cleveland . . . Dan Hanson is living in Seoul, Korea and is an Army captain and a company commander. Dan has also been accepted into Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management . . . Kim Klemenok is an attorney working for the prosecutor's office and is engaged to Rob Kasperski . . .

Chris and Michelle (Cirino) Yarris had a daughter, Elizabeth Jean, in November of last year. Chris was promoted to manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Michelle is vice-president of Cirino Limousine Service. Michelle gave me some news about others: Christine Bucci is attending an MBA program at Georgetown for international law, Christine has already passed the Bar and CPA; Chris Dashner got married in October '98; and Dawn (LoBello) DiCicco has a little girl named Alison, who is two years old already . . . John Cilli is working with IKON Technology Services as an account manager. However, he has branched out into free-lance writing and multi-media. He recently secured a weekly column on WPXI-TV/Channel 11's Interactive News web-site. John visited with sister Christy '94 and her husband, Brian Healy, who is working as AEP's HR director in South Bend, IN and working on an executive MBA at Notre Dame . . .

Anthony Romano took a job as editor for Gerbig, Snell/Weisheimer & Associates which is the largest advertising agency in Columbus. Anthony ran into Kelly (Foley) Campbell and her husband not long ago. He also visited with Gerry Hrenko and Suzie Montz recently, and corresponds regularly with Dan Griffin and Pete Cooney, who got married in June of last year . . . Anne-Marie Wolanin is now working in the CWRU School of Law as director of admissions. Anne-Marie has done much traveling in this new position and when in Chicago, she visited with Elizabeth Gallagher, Karen Cullen and Eileen Casey, who all share an apartment there. Karen is working as associate director for NASA Space Science Center . . .

Matt Hite and his wife, Kris '92, had a baby boy in January, his name is Ryan Matthew . . . Michael Kadlub is working at XYZ Corporation in Mentor, OH as a computer consultant and Webmaster and he recently became a Certified ACT (contact management software) Consultant; he is one of only eight in Ohio . . . Carrie (Kramer) and Brennan Lafferty are expecting their first baby in October of this year . . . Pamela (Phelleps) Shields and her husband, Tom, have been traveling a lot lately: a two week trip to Ireland last fall, a winter weekend get away to Germany, as well as a visit to my new home in North Royalton a short while ago . . . John Hogan is now with Sherwin Williams as manager of their Technology Center. He works three days a week at the Chicago office and two days in Cleveland . . .

Robert and Cherrie (Cajigal) Moussaid announced the birth of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, in February of this year. She was born in Saudi Arabia where the family is living due to Robert's work. Robert and Cherrie also have a two-year-old son named, Evan William . . . Dan Zeller is living in Manhattan Beach, CA and working for Information Integrators as a senior Lotus Notes developer . . . Doug Ennis is working for Interlink Group as a consultant and living in Westminster, CO with his wife, Sandra . . . Todd Kancar has his master's degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and is vice president/curator for Creative Resource & Production in Brooklyn, NY . . . Larry and Bonnie (Waiwood) Oskowski had their 2nd daughter, Madeline, in October of last year; their daughter Sarah is 3 years old . . . Eric Lynch is living in Charlotte, NC and is vice president - process design for Bank America . . .

Jim Bonanno is an account representative for Fleet Car Carriers in Lakewood, CO . . . Jen Williams received her master's in communication from Boston University and is a project manager for Six Red Marbles, LLC . . . Mike Abdoo and wife, Jennifer, are living in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Mike is working as a pension payroll analyst for Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. . . . Brian Glowe is engaged to Kathy Hennessy '94 and is planning a Summer 2000 wedding date. Kathy is an assistant track and field coach at JCU . . . John Meek is a territory sales manager for Reliant Insurance in Johnston, RI . . . Jennifer Norton recently married Tony Marusic '92 . . . Katie Boyle is an appraiser for Real Estate Analysis Corporation in Chicago . . . Edward Slovenkay married Nikki Pistiolas in September '98 and they bought a home in Hinckley, OH. Ed is a salesman for Functional Building Supply . . . Cherie Vargo has been promoted to manager in KPMG Peat Marwick LLP - Cleveland Office; she is a CPA and works in manufacturing, retailing & distribution . . . Dale Kaprosy is now working as an account executive for The James B. Oswald Company, where he will handle the insurance needs of commercial business customers . . .
