Recently, the alumni of Cleveland were invited to attend a happy hour at Alice Cooper's Town Bar & Grill and a
Cleveland Indians game on September 27, 2005. Alumni gathered to enjoy eachothers company along with kicking off the renewed Carroll Club of Cleveland.

Recently, John Carroll University hosted two presidential receptions to introduce Rev. Robert L. Niehoff, S.J. The first reception was held on campus, November 9 at the Dolan Science Center. The second reception was held November 10 at St. Ignatius High School, in Cleveland Ohio.

At both receptions Fr. Niehoff was given the opportunity to meet many of the alumni living in the Cleveland area. Fr. Niehoff expressed, in a short address to the audience at both receptions, how he is grateful to the alumni for there continued commitment to John Carroll University.
