Cultivating Community Service Day was Saturday, April 28, and hundreds of volunteers from the John Carroll Community came together to offer their service in the Hough/Glennville neighborhoods in Cleveland.
Different locations benefited from the service of JCU students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni, including Father Albert House, St. Thomas Aquinas school, St. Francis, homes on East 95th Street, and UMADOP (a youth intervention program).
Among the projects completed were painting, flower planting, grounds cleaning, window painting, concrete repairs, and other landscaping tasks. A special thanks to all those alumni who participated in the service event.
