John Carroll University competes to recruit top students, and we are keenly aware of the high expectations such students have when selecting a college. Today's prospective students compare not only the quality of a university's residence halls, classrooms, and programs, but also the quality of their athletics and fitness facilities.
Whether they are part of a varsity team, competing in intramurals or just participating in the recreation programs, students look for ways to compete and stay in shape. In fact, about 75% of our students participate in over two dozen intramural sports, club teams, and recreational activities every year, using our existing athletic facilities. And our facilities are home to some 650 male and female student athletes competing in 21 varsity sports for the Blue & Gold.
