Dear John Carroll Alumni,

Welcome to the John Carroll Alumni Association web site!  The John Carroll Alumni Association is an organization of over 35,000 members worldwide.  Our John Carroll experience connects all of us in a very special way, so I hope you will use this web site as a means to keep that connection alive, no matter where life takes you.

Membership to the Alumni Association is free and takes effect the moment you graduate.  There are many benefits that go along with your membership and many ways to stay involved.  Attend your class Reunion, come back to campus for Homecoming, help the University recruit talented students from your hometown or simply send a note to your Class Columnist to let us know of any big changes in your life.  Your classmates will be happy to hear from you!

In the office of alumni relations, we are pleased to welcome Mary Lavin ’87 as the new director of alumni relations.  Mary has experience in both alumni relations and student affairs having served as the associate director of alumni relations and annual giving for Wheaton College in Norton, MA, and most recently as director of residential education at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY.

Mary is a former member of the John Carroll University National Alumni Board.  She holds a Master of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from John Carroll.

Ryan Daly '99, who has served as director of alumni relations the past three years, and has helped to rebuild the National Alumni Association and relationships with John Carroll alumni, will continue at the university in his role as a development director.
