June 20-22, 2008
About Reunion

  • Reunion Weekend is June 20-22, 2008. Reunion starts Friday with lunch and ends with brunch on Sunday. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to renew friendships with your classmates, see the campus, be intellectually stimulated with seminars given by faculty, have fun attending beer and wine tasting, have your handwriting analyzed, get a caricature drawing, etc, etc.

  • If you have any Reunion-related questions, please contact Theresa Spada, Alumni & Special Events Coordinator, at (800) 736-ALUM or via email tspada@jcu.edu.

  •  All lectures, tours, and demonstrations are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Airport shuttle service is available to all those flying in for Reunion on a reservation-only basis. You must provide us with your flight information.  The JCU van will pick you up at the baggage claim level of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

  • Our luggage crew will meet you in the Belvoir Boulevard parking lot and take your baggage to your room. On Sunday, the luggage crew will take your baggage from your residence hall lobby to your vehicle, or to the airport vans.

  • Sunday airport shuttle service is by reservation only. The first airport shuttle leaves from the Belvoir Boulevard parking lot at 7:00 a.m. and leaves every hour on the hour until 12:00 p.m. You will be scheduled for a specific shuttle time. It takes approximately 35 minutes to travel to the airport from John Carroll; be sure to arrive at the vans early enough to make it to the airport on time.

  • You will receive a wrist band when you pick up your packet at the registration table in the Atrium. The wrist band is your admission to all meals and activities. They must be left on at all times. A la carte attendees will receive tickets for their meal(s).

  • The children's program is open to children through the age of 18, whose parents register for the Weekend Package. Appropriate release forms will be required to be completed before you can leave your child. Children older than 18 years of age will not be permitted in this program (they may participate, however, in the general Reunion program by paying the standard adult rate).

  • Day care or babysitting will be available for children ages 4 and under from 5 pm – 1 am on both Friday and Saturday nights.  You must register in advance for day care.
  • Attire for the weekend is summer casual.
Residence Hall rooms are supplied with pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, washcloths and soap. We suggest bringing clothes hangers, window fans and additional towels, if desired (Millor Hall is air-conditioned). Early risers can enjoy coffee and newspapers in the Hospitality suites in the residence hall lobbies each morning.
