JCU Night at the Theatre
“The Tempest”
On Wednesday, April 18, at 7:30 pm, join fellow JCU students, alumni, faculty and friends for a presentation of Great Lakes Theater Festival's production of Shakespeare’s compelling play, “The Tempest” at the Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square Center (1519 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115). Free tickets are available for this production through the Office of Student Activities and the Office of Alumni Relations.
Ticket Information:
Current JCU Students may request up to two free tickets beginning now until April 11. JCU Alumni can request up to two free tickets starting March 1. Beginning April 1, JCU faculty, staff, and administrators may also request up to two free tickets each. All tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets for students, faculty, staff and administrators can be picked up in the Office of Student Activities with a JCU ID required beginning March 15. Transportation is available for those students who need it, with a $5 charge paid to the Office of Student Activities at the time of ticket pick-up. Checks should be made payable to John Carroll University. Alumni can pick up their tickets at a will call table at the theatre the night of the performance.

Pre-Show Reception:
Plan to join us for a reception before the performance from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm in the State Theatre Lobby at Playhouse Square Center. The reception is open to everyone and will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

About the Tempest:
The Tempest is an enthralling play about a King and his party who are shipwrecked on an enchanted island who encounter magic, spirits, romance, and villainy. The play details their experiences with a comedic tone as they try to leave the mysterious island.
