BECOME AWARE!
Students visited the LSC Atrium throughout the day to learn about the global AIDS epidemic, tried some baked goods, and received a red ribbon to raise awareness
LIVING RIBBON
Students were part of a “Living Ribbon” to recognize the enormity of the global AIDS crisis. Volunteers received a free “World AIDS Awareness Week” T-shirt and at halftime of the Women’s Varsity Basketball game formed the “Living Ribbon”.
Wednesday, December 3rd
AIDS AWARENESS SPEAKER
Dr. James Lissemore, Professor of Biology, John Carroll University, spoke about the "Biological Consequences of HIV AIDS.
Saturday, December 6th
AIDS AWARENESS CONCERT
Students came to the Marinello Little Theater to hear local bands including cover act “The Thrifters”. Food, refreshments, t-shirts, and World AIDS Awareness information were available.
