Research Compliance Administrator

As the Research Compliance Administrator, I manage the day to day operations of both the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). As the IRB Administrator, I work with closely with students and faculty to ensure that research conducted both on and off-campus meets federal requirements for the protection of human subjects and that applications are reviewed in a timely and thorough manner. I am available to assist investigators with the preparation of their application, development of research tools and the formulation of informed consent documents. As the IACUC Administrator, I work closely with the committee to implement an ethical care and use program to protect the welfare of animals used in research. As with the IRB, I am available to assist student and faculty researchers with application preparation and I work to ensure their timely review.
