I believe in music. Music is considered an international language. No matter where you are from you can always relate to music, no matter what language it's in. When I listen to music I can always relate to it, and it can always cheer me up. Maybe it's the fact that when we find something or someone that shares the same emotion we are feeling at the moment; it makes us feel better about ourselves since we feel like someone shares our pain or happiness.
I believe in the Goosebumps you get when you listen to that certain lyric in a song. When I hear lyrics that touch my soul, I get this indescribable feeling inside me . It‘s not a feeling of sadness or happiness; it is more like a feeling of utopian bliss. A feeling that I am in a perfect world, the type of world that does not exist.
I believe in the music my guitar makes. Music comes to me when I hold my guitar in my hands. I feel relaxed and at ease . When I look at its bright red color I feel comfort and the feeling that I am at home. My guitar has always been loyal to me; it's never let me down. I believe in the feeling I get when I start writing music, when I hold my guitar and music just starts to come out of my hands. That is the indescribable feeling that will always be there for me when I need it most.
I believe in the happiness of music. I believe that when someone is feeling down there is always something that can make that person feel better. About two months ago my father left to Iraq where he translates for the American army. My dad leaving was one of the worst experiences of my life. When I start thinking of my father, and then listen to music that we both shared with each other I start to remember all the memories we had together; all the happy memories. When I lay in bed and I start to remember him and the feeling of safeness when he was around I put on a song that we both enjoyed. When that song starts, I start to feel as if he was there and that everything will be ok and nothing will go wrong. I believe in music.
