The Eastern Great Lakes Biblical Society invites paper proposals for the 2004 meeting to be held April 1–2 at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV.
Paper proposals will be considered under the following three broad categories, each with a specific chairperson. Select the category that best fits your paper topic. If this is your first proposal with EGLBS, chairpersons may ask you for further information before making final decisions about possible presentation.

Student-presenters are welcome at the annual meeting. Any student interested in proposal a paper must be nominated by a sponsoring faculty member from her/his home institution. The paper proposal must be accompanied by the letter of nomination and a complete text of the paper. All three items must be submitted to the appropriate contact person by the proposal deadline. |

| *Each year, a prize or the Best Student Paper may be awarded at the EGLBS meeting. Student presenters who are interested in being considered for this award should notify their section chairs when they submit their paper proposals. At the same time, they must submit either an e-text or three print copies of the complete paper to the EGLBS Secretary-Treasurer. | ||
| **ABD students or recipients of the Ph.D. within the last four years are eligible to submit an accepted Regional paper for consideration for a Society of Biblical Literature Regional Scholar Award, developed by the Society of Biblical Literature's Council of Regional Coordinators to recognize and promote promising entry-level scholars in the field of Biblical studies. When you submit your proposal, please alert your section chair if you desire to be considered for this award. | ||
