Faculty Research
The Biology faculty is committed to student involvement in research, as evidenced by student authors and co-authors on peer-reviewed manuscripts, student attendance at scientific meetings, and participation in the Huntington-Codrington Summer Research program.
The Biology faculty is engaged in meaningful collaborations with researchers throughout the United States and abroad.
The Biology faculty maintains a high publication rate (average number of publications per year for department members since 2003 is 10). Additionally, the faculty continues to secure grant money from local, state, and federal agencies.
Our graduates have matriculated into high caliber graduate programs such as the University of California—Riverside, Case Western Reserve University, University of Connecticut, Harvard University, John Hopkins University, University of Minnesota, Ohio University, and University of Washington.
