Research Interests

My research interests focus on: 1) regulation of germline development in the nematode C. elegans, 2) the use of fluorescent proteins as quantitative reporters of gene expression in E. coli, 3) developing and assessing the impact of an undergraduate course on links between poverty and health, 4) developing and assessing a program to enhance undergraduate student learning about poverty.

Recent Courses

BL 213 - Genetics
BL 215 - Introduction to Biotechnology Lab
BL 260 - Poverty and Disease
BL 465H - Molecular Genetics
BL 470 - Molecular Methods Lab
