BACHELOR OF ARTS IN ECONOMICS

Bachelor of Arts in Economics: 36 credit hours. EC 201-202, 205-206, 301, 302, 499, and 15 additional upper-division hours.

Required Support Courses: 4 hours. MT 133-134 or 135. Students planning to pursue graduate work in economics are urged to take MT 136.

B.A. students are urged, but not required, to take additional courses in the Boler School of Business, especially a year-long sequence in accounting.

Additionally, students planning to pursue graduate work in economics should take EC 409, 410, and a course in linear algebra.
