WELCOME
PROSPECTIVE AND CURRENT STUDENTS
The Department of Management, Marketing, and Logistics
delivers 4 of the 7 majors offered at the Boler School of
Business: Management, Marketing, Logistics, and Business Information Systems. The diversity within our department makes it easy
for the faculty and staff to offer a wide variety of courses
and experiences. Most students in our department have the
exciting opportunity to focus solely on a specific profession
and/or select a few courses from within each of the 4 majors.
Several student clubs provide extra opportunities
to explore areas of interest, build friendships with
other students, and network with professionals from the Northeastern
Ohio community. Many of these groups also give students the
chance to participate in regional and national student competitions.
Finally, faculty advisors, John Carroll University Career
Services, and the department work together to create student
internship opportunities at corporations throughout the Cleveland
metropolitan area.
These internships allow students to further
enhance their professional development. The sum of these activities
results in graduates that have led John Carroll University
to be consistently rated by U.S. News and World Report as
one of the region's best universities and it has made our graduates
the preference of many corporations throughout the Mid-Atlantic
and Mid-West.
The faculty and I are ready and willing to help each student
meet his or her future goals.
Sincerely,
Richard Grenci
