• You must be registered at least half-time (at least 4 credit hours per semester) to be eligible.
• Stafford Loans are disbursed for fall and spring semesters only.
• If you require assistance for summer sessions, we recommend you consider an alternative loan.
Applications are available in the Office of Financial Aid. Further information about student aid is available online at the U.S. Department of Education and FastWEB.
Graduate Assistantships
Graduate assistantships provide both a full tuition scholarship and a stipend in exchange for approximately 20 hours of weekly work involving a range of possible services, depending on the position. Assistantships are limited and offered based on merit. The typical expectation of the University is a willingness to remain in the assistantship for two years, though the contract may be terminated after one year if performance is not satisfactory. The deadline for applications is the March 1st prior to the fall semester in which the student would begin classes.
Download the GA Application or learn more about assistantships to see what positions are available.
