William J. Cenker's primary teaching interests include Federal taxation
and auditing. Cenker’s research interests include case development,
educational and practice issues, management accounting, strategic finance
and tax research. He has published articles in International Journal of
Case Studies and Research, International Journal of Management, Journal
of Legal Economics, The Practical Accountant, Taxes, Journal of Accounting
Education, Tennessee CPA, and The Ohio CPA Journal.
A practicing CPA, Cenker consults in a variety of areas including litigation
support, auditing, taxes, and quality review. Recent consultancies have
included engagements with the Northeast Ohio firms of C.J. Monastra &
Company, and Kase Sexton & Dimengo. Cenker is a member of numerous
professional organizations, including the American Institute of CPAs,
the American Accounting Association, The Institute of Management Accountants,
and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
