Dr.Andrew M. Welki's research interests include urban problems, economic
education, and sports economics. His
work has been published in Managerial and Decision Economics, The Journal
of Business Education, and other journals. In addition, he has reviewed
a number of business statistics books.
Dr. Welki’s teaching interests include business statistics, principles
of economics, and urban economics. He regularly offers courses for K-12
teachers through Economics America, a not-for-profit organization which
promotes economic literacy. Dr. Welki received the Wasmer Award in 1992,
1997, and 2002 which recognizes teaching excellence in the Boler School
of Business at John Carroll University.
