Background
Dr. Cima has twice served as a visiting professor in the People’s
Republic of China, and was a faculty intern with the Trading Capabilities
Department at TRW Inc.
Courses
He teaches international economics on a regular
basis to both undergraduate and MBA students, and is currently doing research
on the question of international interest rate convergence.
Research
Larry Cima's primary professional interests are international economics,
microeconomics, and the normative issues of individual rights and economic
justice. He has published in Economic Inquiry, the Journal of Policy Analysis
and Management, and the Journal of Business Ethics as well as other outlets.
He and a moral
theologian have developed a team-taught interdisciplinary course dealing
with Justice and the Economy, and these two colleagues are engaged in
research exploring the different schools of thought on economics justice,
and their implications for public policy
