on problems ranging from asset valuation to using financial information
to improve managerial decisions.
Courses
Dr. Moore's teaching interests include corporate finance, financial markets
and institutions, and derivatives. He has received grants to explore the
efficacy of teaching by the case method and reviews regularly for Financial
Practice and Education.
Research
Dr. Moore has published research on asset pricing in top finance
journals, including the Financial Review and the Journal of Portfolio
Management and has presented his work at various national and regional
conferences. His current research in financial economics investigates
asset price adjustments to announcements of macroeconomic performance.
Additional Information
In his free time, Dr. Moore enjoys playing
with his kids, sailboat racing, golf, home improvement projects (well, sort
of enjoys), and following Wildcat basketball. |
