Mellen Speaker Series
The Mellen Series features chief executive officers of Ohio head-quartered,
publicly traded firms to visit the John Carroll University campus,
meet with students and faculty, and make a public presentation on
the financial and strategic plans for their companies. The Series
was established by the Edward J. and Louise E. Mellen Foundation.
The Spring 2008 Mellen Series Presentation will be
given by Mr. Alan R. Spachman, Founder/Chairman of the Board of
Directors at National Interstate Corporation. National Interstate
Corporation, through its subsidiaries, operates as a specialty property
and casualty insurance company in the United States, the District
of Columbia, and the Cayman Islands. The company was founded in
1989 and is headquartered in Richfield, Ohio. National Interstate Corporation
The lecture will start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008
in the D.J. Lombardo Conference Room and be followed by an informal
reception. It is free and open to the public and all JCU students.
