Gaining an international experience will change the way you think about the world.  It will also make you more attractive to employers, who increasingly recognize the importance of a broadened, global perspective. 

We give you 3 different programs that will provide you with opportunities for international experiences. 

The London Program – “Bangers & Mash” – Very Cool

This is an exciting opportunity to experience life in another country (England) for an entire semester while taking JCU courses.  The courses are the exact courses you would be taking at JCU during the second semester of your sophomore year (some business core classes and some university core classes), but you take them in London.  Students in the London Program also have the chance to travel all over Europe.  This is truly an outstanding experience that will change your life.  For more information talk to the two contact people listed below. 

Short Trips – Country at a Glance –

India in the winter?   Holy Cow!             Russia in the summer?  Do svidaniya! 

We also offer courses that have shorter trips (usually 10 days to 2 weeks in length) as part of the course.  The trip is typically during a break (Winter, Spring and Summer breaks are common).  For example, we had a trip to China during the Summer ’07 term.  We are planning a trip to Russia during the Summer 08 term and a trip to India during the Winter Break (Dec. 08-Jan. 09).  Contact information about these and other short trips are below.

Other International Study Abroad Experiences

Ok, so let’s say “tea & crumpets” isn’t at the top of your list of things to do, but you want to have a semester long experience.  The Center for Global Education can get you almost anywhere in the world for a semester experience.  Working with your advisor early on can usually make the experience an excellent one that doesn’t delay your graduation.
