The Business Minor
Interested in majoring in something outside of the School of Business but want exposure to some basic business concepts?
We designed the Business Minor with you in mind. The Business Minor will give non-business majors the opportunity to learn about some of the fundamental aspects of business.
To complete the minor, you’ll need to take the following courses:
BI 107, 108, 109 or demonstrated competency
EC 201 & 202 (Micro & Macroeconomics)
AC 201 & either AC 202 or AC 211(Accounting Principles 1 & 2)
MT 122 (Introduction to Statistics)
MN 325 (Organizational Behavior)
MK 301 (Principles of Marketing)
1 class from EC 208, BI 200, BI 326, LG 328
2 upper division classes from one of the majors in the Boler School of Business

For students completing the Business Minor, you should also think about our 5th year program in which you can complete your MBA within 12 months of graduation if you take the correct courses in the Business Minor.
