Nearly 100 teams set to compete in 2008 Continental Cup
Youth Soccer Tournament at John Carroll University
July 2-6

Opening Ceremony: July 3, 7 p.m-10 p.m. at Don Shula Stadium (JCU)

John Carroll University will host the opening ceremony on Thursday, July 3, for teams participating in the third annual Greater Cleveland Sports Commission’s Continental Cup. Nearly 100 teams are slated to participate during the tournament. John Carroll will provide housing for all of the international teams, including teams from Brazil, Canada, Mexico and India. Children and teens from across the country and around the world will be in Greater Cleveland for the 2008 Continental Cup.                                                

                       
FIREWORKS will follow the opening ceremony at approximately 9:30 p.m.

*Admission is FREE for daily tournament games, the opening ceremony and feature games.  However, there is an entrance fee for the semi-professional games.
