Psychology Professor Receives Statewide Recognition

Janet Larsen, Ph.D., chair of the John Carroll University Psychology Department,  recently received the Award for Academic Innovation from the Small College Roundtable.  This award is in recognition of her “commitment to the value of psychological science and undergraduate students’ active participation in it.” 

Prof. Larsen founded the Ohio Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference in 1987 at John Carroll University and established a consortium of colleges and universities to sustain it. The work of this organization continues and the 24th conference will be held in April at Ohio Dominican University.
