It is expected that students in the Arrupe Scholars Program will develop and practice the following:

Intellectual Skills

Students will acquire the knowledge-base and skills needed to analyze the complex relationships among the social, political, and economic policies, practices, and consequences of social action.

Competency to Reflect

Students will acquire the competence necessary to reflect and evaluate issues of social justice.

Commitment to Solidarity

Students will demonstrate a commitment to social justice by acting in solidarity with others in order to create a more just world.

Advocacy

Students will value and participate in advocacy as part of their commitment to social justice and social action.
