FIRST-YEAR RETREAT
Next retreat date is Saturday, October 11 - Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Led by a team of sophomore students, First Year Retreat is a great way to meet other JCU students and to reflect on the ways faith and justice can be a part of your Carroll experience. The retreat combines large group presentation, small group discussion and prayer services all in a beautiful and scenic National Park.
The retreat is intentionally scheduled approximately one month into the semester so that new students have a chance to adjust to classes and exams and can then relax and enjoy a fun, reflective, faith-filled weekend. The retreat is open to all first-year students. Although it is rooted in the Ignatian (Jesuit) tradition it is open to students of all faith backgrounds and no prior retreat experience is required.
Incoming students may register for the retreat when they come to JCU in August.
If you have any questions please contact Paula Fitzgerald, Associate Director of Campus Ministry and Coordinator of Retreats at (216) 397-4709 or e-mail her.
