What I like best about CLCs are… CLC’s are a wonderful opportunity to simultaneously take time away from our busy schedules as college students and at the same time engage fully in a different form of community. CLC’s allow us as students to develop spiritually and socially in ways that traditional activities cannot. We are given support and give support all along the journey toward finding God’s purpose for our lives today  and in the future

Favorite Quote: “What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men and women. That is what love looks like.” - Saint Augustine -

Our CLCs mission: The mission of our Christian Life Community is to create a community which finds God in the everyday life. We seek to become a community that talks about and experiences the presence of God in our lives and in the world around us. As a Christian Life Community, we will seek to find God’s endless love and compassion in order to share it with one another and with the world.

Why I am a part of CLCs: CLC’s set aside time to reflect on our lives spiritually, an aspect of our college careers that is important to sustain. And to reflect in community with peers from different faith journeys has allowed me to grow in my relationship with God. In sharing my faith with such a close and open group of friends, I am able to better see God’s inspiring impact in my life and in the lives of others. CLC’s have the power to amaze each individual and learn in ways different from the classroom. When such open and honest people take an active role like this in their faith lives, our lives outside our CLC seem to be better understood. And I can only hope to make our future CLC members feel this way too.

Favorite Quote: “Here's to the Crazy Ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing that you can't do, is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or, sit in silence and hear a song that hasn't been written? Or, gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels? We make tools for these kinds of people. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” –Steve Jobs
