Campus Safety Services has established a confidential tip line for members of the John Carroll community to provide information regarding unlawful behavior on campus.
Individuals with information can call extension 1515, or if off campus, (216) 397-1515, and leave their tip.
If the tip directly leads to the resolution of an unsolved incident the caller may be eligible for a monetary reward, ranging from $50-$500. The level of reward will be determined by a committee and based upon the level of offense, cost to the victim, and impact on the campus community.
To accomplish anonymity, callers will be instructed to provide a self-determined six-place alphanumeric identifier with the tip. They can later contact the Director of Campus Safety Services at extension 3021, provide their identifier, and learn if a reward has been assigned.
Reward recipients will be instructed how to claim their reward without disclosing their identity.
This program will assist members of the John Carroll community in fulfilling their personal responsibility to keep the campus safe.
