The Student Health Center at John Carroll University is committed to assisting students in their acquisition of the knowledge, attitudes, skills and behaviors necessary for them to be self directed health advocates in the pursuit of intellectual growth and personal development.
The Student Health Center subscribes to the definition of health, which includes the attainment, maintenance and life long commitment to an optimum level of wellness. This philosophy is rooted within the Jesuit educational tradition in which there is integration of learning with the development of the whole person.
