BASKETBALL COED LEAGUE RULES

Intramural basketball rules will govern all play with the following exceptions:

1.  PLAYERS:

1. Each team will consist of five players (three women and two men); a team must play with two men and may not have more than two on the court at one time.
2. A team may start and play with four players but the combination of players must be two women and two men.
3. Substitutions are allowed on a man for man and a woman for woman basis only.

2.  SCORING:

Field Goals from inside the three point line:
By men = two points each
By women = three points each

Free Throws:
By men = two attempts (1 point each)
By women = three attempts (1 point each)

Foul and a made shot:
By men = two points and one free throw
By women = three points and one free throw

Three Point Line:
By men = three points each
By women = four points each

Free Throws After a Three Point Shot:
By men = three attempts (1 point each)
By women = four attempts (1 point each)

Foul and a made Three Point shot:
By men = three points and one free throw
By women = four points and one free throw

Bonus Free Throws (from 7 to 9 team fouls):
By men (one and one) = one attempt (1 point each)
By women = automatic two attempts (1 point each)

Bonus Free Throws (10 team fouls of higher):
By men = two attempts (1 point each)
By women = three attempts (1 point each)
